Councilmember McOsker on State of the City Address

"The most important thing is that our residents feel safe - that they can walk to their grocery store, get into and out of their cars in a parking lot, and go to their parks without fear. I appreciate Mayor Bass’ focus on public safety during her State of the City Address and it is chief among my priorities as well. We share the same goal of recruiting and retaining officers, even while we work to expand on our unarmed crisis response programs. These efforts should not be mutually exclusive and I will be a willing partner to work alongside her to increase peace in our City."
